Shenley Youth & Community Trust (SYCT)
SYCT’s aim is to cater for the social, recreational, educational and welfare needs of the community and residents in the Shenley community of South Birmingham, enabling them to develop individually and collectively and improving their quality of life.
SYCT is responsible for the management of Shenley Community Hall, a purpose built centre in the heart of the local community and a flourishing base for a wide range of local community groups and activities.
We are looking to recruit a number of trustees to our board. We are particularly interested to recruit people who have an interest in supporting local youth and community activities and/or have knowledge and expertise in areas of finance, legal, marketing, human resources and equalities.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people living or working in Shenley who are interested and have the expertise required. However if you live locally and have other skills which you think may be useful please do contact us.
The board meets quarterly and trustees are volunteers but receive expenses.
For further information and/or to submit an expression of interest setting out the skills and experience you offer and why you are interested please contact:
